Fine Day For Sailing Rad Mode with A Family Afloat

Heather put in some serious work cooking for the crews.

Well we didn’t actually go sailing, but we did have dinner and hung out for a while. We had a great time!

Just a few days ago, Josie from A Family Afloat hit us up on our blog and put us in touch with a friend of her’s, Heather, from a Fine Day for Sailing. A couple of days later, we were all packed into Heather’s boat, a one-of-a-kind custom racer specifically built to win the Chicago-Mackinac Race that she uses to run charters in SF Bay.

Heather was a real champ and not only picked us up for dinner last night, but fed us, hosted the whole thing, and made sure we got back. Josie and Nina from A Family Afloat dropped in as well and we had a great time hanging out and chatting about our boats and future plans. It seems they are both headed back to Mexico to rendezvous with Daddy-O and the rest of the family.

We know we made some lasting friendships and we’re looking forward to our next dinner party with everyone. Maybe next time, it will be on Rad Mode!
