It’s always fun to post about progress on the boat and last night, we finished through-bolting our handrails and glued the mahogany plugs in. There’s some sanding to be done, the scraping up of excess butyl rubber, and then the Honey Teak to be applied. Man, are they solid! I can’t wait to see them completed!
Also, our first out of two dorade boxes is finished. It looks sweet!
Today, we are working towards the installation of the boomkin and soon thereafter, we’ll be moving the boom and mast (neither were ever assembled) down from the marina office roof and will begin working on those. Boy do we have a surprise on the paint for both of those. You all will love it!
