Our new boat, the Westsail 32, is in need of some serious work. Apparently we like to buy project boats. She is our new project now that the Cheoy Lee is nearly complete. We got a great deal on the boat and it comes with 90% of what it needs to be completed. The previous owner spent thirty years collecting all the parts for the boat, but not really working on putting the boat together.
There is a ton of wood on the boat so I decided to put it all strategically in the head for now. As I am doing some Tetrus movers with the wood trying to make it all fit the 40+ tillar handle slips off the ledge and lands right on my toe! Another reason why sailors cuss. I could not believe the dang thing weighs so much. And man the metal bracket hurt like the dickens.
After a moment of silently screaming in my head and I’m pretty sure a few choice curse words left my lips hubby looks at me and asks if I’m ok. Oh yeah peachy… oh course I’m not ok!!! Just kidding. I’m
about the least dramatic woman there is, one of the reasons my hubby loves me.
Not sure that if it is broken or just smashed but (*bite knuckle) man it hurts like hell.
